Polini S.p.A. (often referred to as Polini Motori S.p.A.) is a historic Italian engineering and manufacturing company best-known for its work in the motorcycle and scooter performance sector. It’s structured as a Società per Azioni (joint-stock company) and has been family-owned since its founding.

Polini doesn’t sell complete paramotors under its own name (frames, wings, harnesses), but it produces a range of “Thor” engines that are widely used by paramotor manufacturers and custom builds :

Polini Thor 80 – Small, lightweight ~18 HP engine ideal for very light or entry-level paramotors.

Polini Thor 130 EVO – Mid-range paramotor engine with improved design for stability and compactness.

Polini Thor 202 – Advanced engine with improved cooling systems and used in competition paramotors; also has variants with electric start or manual start.

Polini Thor 260 –  The compact and performance engine (36 HP), rich in torque, designed to satisfy the needs for the “adventure” use without giving up the sporting soul.

Polini Thor 303 & Thor 303 Dual Spark – Larger, higher-performance paramotor engines (38 HP) with liquid cooling and dual ignition for redundancy/safety.
