LIABILITY

Operating a paramotor involves inherent risks. The paramotor pilot bears sole responsibility for assessing all aspects of flight readiness. This includes, but is not limited to, evaluating the condition of all flight equipment, compliance with local aviation laws and regulations, weather conditions, the pilot’s mental and physical readiness, and any other factor that may impact the safety of the flight. Neglecting these responsibilities could lead to serious injury or even death.

In Canada, the regulations governing the operation of Paramotors/Motorized Paragliders (PPG) may vary by province, territory, and municipality. Prior to flight, it’s essential to verify and adhere to any local licensing requirements, as well as all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. A comprehensive preflight inspection of your aircraft is crucial before every take-off. As the pilot in command, you are solely accountable for the decisions made and actions taken during your flight. Should your paramotor equipment exhibit any malfunction or issue, you must resolve this before attempting to fly.

Remember: Take-offs are optional; landings are mandatory. Always prioritize safety and adhere to best practices in aviation to ensure a secure and enjoyable flying experience.
